FX Gasoline Carb

Precision Flow Aluminium Main Body

The all new die cast aluminium main body design, which features lengthened venturi sections for greater mid-range torque is a great plus for both throttle stop and bracket racing. Heads up racers will benefit from the new raised intermediate system for a stronger signal and enhanced air entry section for better flow to the booster venturi. Available with cast throttle bores of 2.000, 2.125 & 2.250.

Annular Booster Venturi

The annular booster venturi are precision flow die cast with CNC-machined billet aluminium inserts. Far superior to the standard castings, these new venturi have a much smoother and refined air entry and exit for increased flow, a stronger vacuum signal, less turbulence and improved fuel emulsion for better combustion. Additionally, the discharge holes around the circumference of the insert are drilled, not punched. The gas version has 12+ discharge holes versus the conventional 8. Two separate booster inserts are available for either Gasoline (red), E85 (green), or Methanol (blue).

Billet Metering Block

QFX carburetors have all-new metering blocks. CNC-machined from billet aluminium, they feature 3-circuit metering (gasoline carburetors), changeable emulsion, idle feed and intermediate bowl feed and discharge. Alcohol carburetors also feature a billet metering block, dedicated for alcohol use, utilising 5/16 jets.

QFT Fuel Bowl

QFT's aluminium fuel bowl is unique, combining strength with significant weight reduction.  QFT's aluminium fuel bowls feature dual threaded fuel inlets and dual sight glass for convenient float level setting. Dedicated floats for specific applications ensure optimum carburetor performance characteristics without additional upgrade components.

All QFX series large flange carburetors have QFT's external linkage. Additional links are packaged with the carburetor providing four variations of throttle opening rates.
