RQ Metering Block

“All Billet Metering Blocks are not the same!”

The 2 photos show a QFT RQ Carburetor Billet Metering Block, showing Changeable 5 stage Emulsion bleeds, Changeable power valve channel restrictors, Screw in Idle Feed Restrictors.   The other Billet block, from a well known manufacturer, has non screw in, only 3 stage Emulsion bleeds, No screw in power valve channel restrictors nor screw in idle feed restrictors.  The only way of changing sizes in this block is to drill the restrictors, or if too large, replace the restrictors and re-size.  This can end up costing a lot of time, (money!) especially if trying to re-calibrate on the dyno.  With the Quick Fuel RQ Series, if you go too large in the restrictor, it is a simple and quick task to replace the restrictor with another one.
